Lughnasadh Season Offerings

  • Lughnasadh Intention Setting & Journaling

The season of Lughnasadh is upon us: the first harvest festival of the year. It's time to turn inward and check in with what this means to us... setting intentions for this sabbat (which is on 8.7 in 2025)... and envisioning how our lives might shift in letting this intention TRULY be integrated into our lives. Grab a journal, a quiet spot, and a nourishing beverage -- and get ready to let the energy of Lughnasadh move through you with your writing.

  • Inner Harvest: A Yin Yoga Practice for Lughnasadh

Lughnasadh, the first of two harvest festivals for the Wheel of the Year -- is a time to reflect on what has and hasn't worked, to acknowledge without judgment what IS (what is abundant, what is missing, and how do I feel about it?) and to clear out space for what is still to come. This practice utilizes contemplation/reflection in conjunction with yin yoga (long, slow holds) to give you the spaciousness to tend to your inner harvest. This is a 60 minute practice, and props are welcome but not required. please have a journal if desired.

  • Creative Manifestation: Building Community in An Individualized World

In this phase of the world where so many people have closed themselves off and live individualized lives for the sake of convenience or safety, we need to challenge ourselves to engage in all the beauty and messiness that comes with community. This offering is a space for us to dream up what that community could look like for each of us individually and as a collective, not as a perfect utopia, but an imperfect home where everyone’s humanity is welcome and we are all able to hold and be held. Please have a journal & a warm beverage to drink.

  • Book Club + Opening Plant Spirit Meditation

Our first book club meeting on Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Please have a brewed tea or herbal infusion of your choice), as we open with a brief plant spirit meditation before diving in!

What is a belief or teaching you were taught growing up about the relationship between humans & nature & how has it shaped your patterns/beliefs/ways of existing in the world?

What does reciprocity mean to you? What is your relationship to reciprocity (in general & in nature)?

How do you envision or dream of the reunion between humankind & nature to look like?

How can we live NOW for our grandchildren & our grandchildren’s grandchildren?

  • New Moon in Virgo Cacao Circle
